Black Infant Mortality Awareness Walk
In the United States we see extremely high rates of infant deaths for Black American babies. We walk to bring attention to this cause and raise awareness about the work being done locally to combat this issue in our community.
Join Uzazi Village for the 11th Annual Black Infant Mortality Awareness Walk to help spread awareness about our vital work. With each step you take, you’re helping ensure future generations can run.
We’ll be meeting at the Kansas City Health Department at 2400 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO and make our way 2 1/2 miles to Uzazi Village at 4232 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO 64110.
While participation is free, we encourage you to purchase a t-shirt in solidarity with the Uzazi Village community and to help us deepen our impact.
